‘Earth Sprites Emerging’
A number of our Guildford and Godalming group members had their work displayed at Godalming Museum at the end of May for a couple of weeks.
Some of them brought their families and friends to view their work at an Opening Ceremony where they enjoyed a glass of fizz and some canapés! This was attended by the Mayor of Guildford and the Mayor of Godalming.
Their pictures were part of an exhibition organised by the ‘What Next? Climate Awareness group who are Godalming based.
The theme was ‘Earth Sprites Emerging’ and entrants were asked to use their imagination and paint pictures of ‘Earth Sprites’ – magical beings imploring humans to take better care of our planet.
