David Thompson lives in Swail House for the blind which is a few blocks from the Methodist Church in Epsom where we meet.

David is one of a number of blind or partially sighted members who have regularly attended Conquest Art over the last year and this is what David says: “I have really enjoyed coming to Conquest Art because I can make pom-poms which then can be made into caterpillars or other forms. I also enjoy using clay and have made several pots. It’s fun coming here as I also get to make new friends and have a laugh and I don’t have to walk very far!”
