Rotary Event – ‘Party in the Park’
On 21st September the Rotary Club hosted an all-day outdoor event in Rosebery Park, Epsom to celebrate 100 years of service. There were a variety of charities taking part with a funfair and stage for children’s entertainment! Luckily the sun shone all day and the event was attended by a large number of people.
Conquest Art was represented by Charlotte Atkinson, Anne Bland Botham and Christine Loizou. Our CA stall attracted a positive interest in our charity. We made good contacts with local organisations who were interested in helping us with volunteer recruitment and we had many inquiries from the public about joining CA as members. The Mayor also stopped by and enjoyed a chat!
This event offered a great opportunity to highlight the benefits that CA can bring and along with our bright stall displaying leaflets, posters, and examples of beautiful art work from the Cheam Group, the day was very successful and good fun!
