Trying New things at Carshalton
We have been incredibly busy at the Circle Library, trying many different crafts and techniques.
We decorated glass jars, made daffodil wreaths, and learned to paint carnations and pansies.
The most interesting technique was taken from a Christmas card I received from a member depicting a painting from a foot and mouth artist, so we gave it a go. It certainly made us appreciate these artists, we either used our non-dominant hand or our mouth, we thought taking our shoes off may produce an unusual odour in the library.
I took part in the Wallingon Wellbeing Fair to advertise all groups of Conquest Art Charity. I hope some of the people contacted your groups.
