‘Energy’ Artwork Winners
Judy Sarssam, our President is carrying on the tradition of selecting a topic each year for group members to submit their artwork on that theme.
The theme for this year is ‘Energy’.
All paintings were on display at the Annual Meeting held on Thursday, 1st June at St. Paul’s Church at which time a judging panel selected, award and announced first, second and third prize. John Gumbel (Chairman) and Bob Jones (Secretary and Trustee) judged the artwork on display at the exhibition and selected the prize winners. The judges chose the paintings that they felt depicted the theme of ‘energy’ the best.
And the winners are…
1st Prize was awarded to Jenny Urmenyi from the Stoneleigh group.
2nd Prize was won by Gerri Joyce from the Reigate Park group.
3rd Prize went to Vicki Gallagher from the Formby group.
Well done to all the winners and every member who participated in the awards.
