Stretching Imaginations at Halesworth
Our artists have had some interesting challenges over the past months initiated by our leader, Yvonne Forster.
We chose one of Van Gogh’s famous portraits, La Berceuse, to divide up between eight members and they each painted a section in their own style. Below is member, Doris Chitty painting her section.
When these were mounted together the finished work was interesting and highlighted how differently artists can approach the same subject. This was on show at our exhibition at our local library in June for the whole of the Halesworth community to see what Conquest Art is all about.
Every week we continue to produce good work from stimulating projects and with summer ahead we will find subjects to stretch everyone’s talents and imagination.
