Two Special Visitors at Reigate Park
The Mayor of Reigate and Banstead, Councillor Dorothy Ross-Tomlin and her husband Jim visited the Reigate Park group on 10th October. They were delighted to see what Conquest Art does and to meet the artists who told them their stories and why Conquest is important to them. Jim Ross-Tomlin explained that the Mayor now has an official Facebook page on which she posts photographs of all her engagements, and he promised that they would give as much publicity to the group as possible. They were both very impressed by the aims and friendly atmosphere of the group.
It was a pleasure to welcome the Mayor and her husband, who spent an hour and a half with the group, listening to the artists and admiring their work.
