Coffee Filter Flowers
I was searching Pinterest for art ideas and found a good project for visually impaired artists, as it is tactile. Sai, one of our members, has now made a big bunch of coffee filter flowers.
We used filters which are paper circles. I had been given some but they proved too large for my coffee maker!
Some of the filters were painted freehand while others were soaked in diluted acrylic paint. We used green plant ties for stems and made a few plasticine leaves.
We hope the colourful results may inspire other artists to try this technique.
