Success at our 12-Hour Bowlathon!
We would like to tell you about some wonderful fundraising for Conquest Art.
Steve and Debbie Deal (Ewell group leader and member) organised a 12-hour bowlathon to raise funds for our Charity on Monday, 20th May. It was great deal of hard work both before and on the day, and we would like to say a very BIG thank you to both of them.
We would also express grateful thanks to Josh, Manager of Hollywood Bowl who so generously allocated two bowling lanes and the hire of bowling boots free of charge to all those who took part.
It was a wonderful day and much enjoyed by players and onlookers alike. It was great fun whilst at the same time helping such a good cause.
Over £900 was raised and 162 strikes in the day!
It was such a successful event that Steve and Debbie have been asked to do it again next year! So, if you didn’t get a chance to have a bowl yourself, watch for details in 2020 to see if you can get a strike for Conquest Art!
