Embrace Art Exhibition
The Embrace Art Exhibition is a celebration of artwork by artists of all ages who have a disability or sensory impairment valuing the contribution they make to society.
Our Godalming members participated in this event which was held at Holy Trinity and St Mary’s, Guildford from 6th to 15th September 2016. As well as the exhibition being open to the public, they hosted a ‘Meet the Artists’ afternoon reception on Wednesday, 14th September to provide an opportunity to meet some of the other artists who participated in the exhibition.
Godalming member, Janet Cozens’ painting was chosen as the main design for the cover of guides and posters. You can see by the picture (above) that it was a very wise and excellent choice!
We have such talented artists! Wouldn’t you agree by looking at these inspiring paintings?
