Stoneleigh’s Remembrance Commemoration
Members of Conquest Art Stoneleigh Group have commemorated the centenary of the armistice by creating pictures of Poppies, the symbol of remembrance, including the white peace poppy and the purple poppy for the animals who died in war. The display was in the Stoneleigh Methodist Church on the Remembrance Parade Service on 11th November and was appreciated by members of the congregation.
